Room Types

Room Setup - Part 2 (Properties)

Please ensure you have completed part 1 of the rooms setup first. To view part 1 click HERE

Go to Management > Room Types:

Select Properties on the room type you would like to edit

Room Code - Should match the property PMS code and is for internal use only

Alloc Qty - This is the default number of rooms that will be for sale if you are not connected to StarRez

Alert Qty & Alert Email - By setting an “Alert Qty”, you will receive an alert email when you are down to your last rooms remaining. You can specify the email address these will go to.

Bedding Allocation - To set up the bedding configuration for each room type, type in the bedding as per below and click “Add bedding option” to save.

It will then display like this:

Ensure you click Submit to save your changes.

The final step is to add your Room Amenities.

Go back to the main Room Types page and select Amenities for each room type:

Select the amenities applicable for this room type and click save:
