Setup

To setup a new RMS interface,or to migrate your existing RMS system from another channel manager to Levart, please contact RMS support and complete the set-up process with them first:

Notify Levart and Levart will send you documentation required to establish the interface for you to review and sign.

 Levart will then contact RMS Support to advise of the connection and setup. 

Please note there are fees involved for setting up this interface.

Options

The default range that Levart requests availability from RMS is 365 days. Please advise Levart Support if you would like to increase this.

Import Inventory: If set to Yes, room availability is set in Levart by RMS

Import Rates : If set to Yes, rates in Levart are set by RMS ( One rate per room type only)

Send Booking Cancellations:  If set to Yes, cancellations will be applied to existing bookings in RMS.

Please advise Levart of your preferred options on setup.

Credit Card Details: Levart sends Credit Card details to RMS. RMS Vault must be set up for these details to drop into reservations.

RMS does not accept modifications to existing bookings- These will need to be entered manually

Link Editor

Once you have created your new room types in both Levart and RMS, please contact Levart support to assist with linking room types.

If you are removing a room from Levart, please contact Levart support to unlink the room from RMS before you delete the room type.

Calendar, Inventory and Rates

 

Levart Calendar Closeouts: RMS availability will not override closeouts made in your Levart Calendar.


Room availability must be set in RMS If Levart is importing Inventory



Minimum Length of Stay (MLOS): Must be set in Levart on each rate type

Closed to Arrival/Departure:  Must be set in Levart Calendar

Rates in RMS

Levart can only link to one RMS rate when importing rates. It is recommended that you derive other rates in Levart from the base rate that is linked to RMS.

If you are not importing rates to Levart from RMS, you must still have a Levart “dummy rate” setup in RMS for linking purposes. This rate setup must have a dollar value.

PMS Buffer

You can set a buffer in either Levart or RMS that will hold from online a nominated number of rooms.

Issues and Resolutions

Quote Status Booking:  Sent to your property by RMS when there is no continuous availability for the booking i.e. If the reservation is for 2 nights, but the availability on RMS is split over 2 different room numbers.

Charge type ID error: Online rates need to be loaded into RMS, even if Rates are updated in Levart. If rates are loaded correctly, please contact RMS support to assist.
