Opera PMS

Setup

To setup a new Opera interface, or to migrate your existing Opera system from another channel manager to Levart, please contact Oracle and complete the set-up process with them first:

Notify Levart and Levart will send you documentation required to establish the interface for you to review and sign.

Opera will then contact Levart Support to advise of the connection and setup. 

Please note there are fees involved for setting up this interface.

Options

The default range that Opera sends availability to Levart is 366 days. After that, availability is sourced from default allocations set in Levart.

Import Inventory:  Room availability is set in Levart by Opera.

Link Editor

Once you have created your new room types in both Levart and Opera, please contact Levart support to assist with linking room types.

An Opera room code must be entered on all new room types created in Levart.

If you are removing a room from Levart, please contact Levart support to unlink the room from Opera before you delete the room type.

Calendar, Inventory and Rates

 

Levart Calendar Closeouts: Opera availability will not override closeouts made in your Levart Calendar.

Minimum Length of Stay (MLOS): Must be set in Levart on each rate type

Closed to Arrival/Departure:  Must be set in Levart Calendar

PMS Buffer: Due to Opera updates, PMS buffers ( rooms held back from online) must be set in Opera.

Issues and Resolutions

(Unable to Export )Invalid Credit Card Expiration: Opera PMS defaults to not accept credit card details that expire before the booking arrival date. Opera can accept details that expire up to 6 months before the booking arrival, you must contact Oracle support to turn this feature on.

(Unable to Export)  Room Unavailable: It is likely that rates have not been loaded on Opera, especially if the booking in question is far in advance. 

(Unable to Export) Invalid rate code: Rate code in Levart does not match Opera rate code.
